In the Fall of 2008, hundreds of your pastors signed on to an open letter to Governor Manchin, asking that he take the leadership in defending marriage by letting West Virginians vote on its definition. Yet, he has taken very little action to encourage the legislature to give you the right to vote on a marriage protection amendment.
Below, you can download a copy of a document being sent to more than 10,000 West Virginia homes. We encourage you to download the document, print it double- sided and distribute it to your friends and family.
In fact, we encourage you to ask your church to print enough to be inserted in the Sunday bulletin. Then, encourage your church family to sign their name on the back of the tear off portion of the card, put a stamp on the card, and send it to Governor Manchin.
Let Governor Manchin know that you support the democratic process and think that he should too.
